How did I become a Holiday Creative Director?
My fascinating journey started 25 years ago, when I landed in New York,City.
I came from Slovakia with my 8 months old daughter Rebeka. I had no idea what I got myself into. I did not speak any English; I did not have a work permit to work in the United States, and I had no formal training or experience.
Despite all that, I still was able to land myself a job as a Holiday Decorator.
I answered the only English ad in a Polish newspaper. The only words I understood was "Christmas Trees". So the very next day, I got on the subway and one hour later, I reached my destination.As I stood in front of the building and rang the bell, a huge garage door rolled up and a woman came outside. I showed her ad and she asked me to come in. Yvonna brought a large box and handed it to me. She said:" You have 15 minutes to decorate a tree. Pick any tree you want", and she disappeared.
I was nervous and intimidated but afraid to fail. I have never seen such a beautiful fluffed artificial Christmas trees, flowers, ribbons,etc...When Yvonna walked back into the room and saw my design, she said:" Kid, you got yourself a job!"
I felt so empowered and very happy. I discovered my gift that was given to me!
I knew at that moment that I can achieve anything
I set my mind to.

How did I end up been my own Boss?
I had the opportunity to travel the East Coast of the United States and decorate for Macy's and other department stores during Holidays and learning from the best.
I promised myself that one day I would be my own Boss. I became committed and determined to follow my vision. As a result I became the sole proprietor of "Decor By Deni" in 2005 / in 2022"Snow GypsyMT LLC" .Now I have the opportunity to serve residential and commercial accounts with my unique interior holiday decor. I create extraordinary designs and bring new and creative ideas. I pride myself on attention to detail and I love to share my knowledge and expertise though my designs.
I will work with you individually to create an outstanding design that brightens your home or business.
I provide beautiful custom designs for all year round celebrations, an efficient installation and take down as you wish. Your ideas are always welcome to enhance your event.
